Nkwazi and Mircs Insurance Strike K1 Million Kit Sponsorship Deal
Nkwazi Football Club, a team in the Zambian Super League, has secured a significant sponsorship deal with Mircs Insurance, a prominent insurance company.
The three-year agreement, valued at approximately One Million Kwacha, was announced on Friday.
As part of the deal, Mircs Insurance will provide playing kits (home and away jerseys), tracksuits, and training gear for the team.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mircs Insurance as our main shirt sponsor,” said a club spokesperson. The sponsorship was officially unveiled to the team at the Edwin Imboela stadium.
Speaking at the launch event, Patrick Mwaba, CEO of Mircs Insurance Company Ltd, emphasized that the sponsorship reflects the company’s commitment to sports development and social responsibility. He expressed his long-term vision to support the community through initiatives like this.
Evaristo Kwalela, the Zambia Police Service National Sports Coordinator, expressed gratitude to the Police high command and Mircs Insurance Company Ltd for their support. He assured them of the team’s dedication and hard work.
The sponsorship deal between Mircs Insurance and Nkwazi FC is set to last for three years, with the possibility of extending for an additional three years.
Mircs Insurance, in collaboration with Billy Pro Sports, aims to ensure that the team is well-equipped throughout the duration of the partnership.
