National Olympic Committee Counsels Zambia’s Hockey 5’s Team Ahead of World Cup
In preparation for the upcoming Hockey 5’s World Cup in Oman, the Zambia National Hockey 5’s Team underwent a comprehensive safeguarding session conducted by Prudence Nswana, the Safe Sport Officer of the National Olympic Committee of Zambia. The session was held at their training camp located at the OYDC Zambia – Sports Development Centre.
The main focus of the session was to educate the athletes on essential safeguarding practices and policies. This initiative plays a crucial role in providing a strong foundation for the athletes as they proudly represent Zambia on the global sporting stage. Ensuring the welfare of the athletes and creating an environment free from abuse is a paramount commitment reflected in such safeguarding education.
As Zambia’s hockey representatives gear up for the Hockey 5’s World Cup, this counseling and educational effort by the National Olympic Committee contribute significantly to the holistic development and well-being of the athletes.
