Nachula Scores as Katamon Wins Athens Cup

Racheal Nachula, forward for the Copper Queens, and Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem emerged victorious as the new Anthens Cup champions, triumphing over Kiryat Gat SC Women 5-4 in a penalty shootout.

Nachula struck first in the opening half of regular time, but Kiryat Gat SC Women equalized in the second half, leading to a 1-1 draw at full time.

“I am incredibly proud to be part of this championship-winning team. The club has not secured any silverware since the 70s, neither the men’s nor women’s teams, making this a remarkable start to the season,” Nachula shared with FAZ Media from her current location.

“Our aim now is to clinch the league title and, hopefully, win the State Cup. We are determined to contend for every trophy available this season.”

Nachula joined the Ligat Al Women’s League side in July last year.
