Mwape Names 32 Copper Queens Squad For Korea Friendlies

Zambia Women’s National Team coach Bruce Mwape has announced his 32-member local provisional squad that has commenced preparations for next month’s international friendlies against South Korea.

 

The Copper Queens will be away to South Korea on 7 and 11 April as part of intensified groundworks for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in July where they are in Group C alongside Spain, Costa Rica and Japan.
Mwape has retained the core of his local side but will miss the services of defender Lushomo Mweemba due to injury. He has handed first time call-ups to Zanaco Ladies trio of goalkeeper Christabel Njuka, midfielder Tisilile Lungu and striker Sarah Jere, Martha Banda (BUSA), Luty Kamanga from YASA and Inonge Kaloustian from ZISD Women.
