In a thrilling showdown at the 2024 Zambian International Basketball Tournament, the Munali Suns emerged victorious after defeating the Matero Warriors in a fiercely contested final match. Held across three prestigious basketball courts in Lusaka, including the NASDEC Sports Complex, OYDC, and Zamsure Sports Complex, the tournament showcased the best talent from Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi.
With 16 formidable teams vying for the championship title in the men’s division, the competition was intense, with each team aiming to claim the substantial prize of 50,000 Zambian Kwacha. The tournament featured four pools, each comprising four talented teams, setting the stage for thrilling matches and captivating performances.
Throughout the tournament, teams faced tough challenges and intense competition, pushing them to their limits. Only the most resilient teams managed to advance to the finals, where the Munali Suns and Matero Warriors, two top contenders in Zambia’s Basketball Super League, clashed in an epic battle.
