Mulwanda Not the Top Choice for Muza Job
Super League side FC Muza is set to announce a new coach, according to sources from the ZamFoot Crew.
Despite earlier speculation, former Kansanshi Dynamos coach Mulwanda is not the frontrunner for the position.
Mulwanda was previously linked with the Muza job and considered a favorite by many.
“That’s not the case. He was shortlisted, but it seems like we will be having another coach,” an insider from the ZamFoot Crew revealed.
Muza finished fourth last season, trailing Champions Red Arrows by 18 points.
Two weeks ago, Muza parted ways with head coach Mathews Ndhllovu after just one season at the club.
Ndhllovu had taken over from Lameck Banda in June 2023, just before the club’s first continental football campaign.
Coincidentally, Banda is now available after his recent departure from Prison Leopards, where he spent four months.
