Lweendo Chimuka Completes Move To Armenia’s FC Alashkert On European Deal

Atletico Lusaka Football Club has confirmed that right-back Lweendo Chimuka has signed a four-year deal with Armenian side FC Alashkert. The historic club, which has won several domestic honours, has also recently featured in UEFA Europa Conference League competition.

The move was facilitated by FIFA agent Nir Karin, who expressed excitement about Chimuka’s transfer and the continued rise of Zambian football talent in Europe.

Chimuka described the move as a dream come true, thanking Atletico Lusaka FC for shaping his development and acknowledging his agent’s role in securing the deal.

He will now join fellow Zambian and former Atletico Lusaka teammate Joseph Sabobo Banda in Armenia as he begins a new chapter in his career. The club congratulated him and wished him success in Europe.
