Late Copper Queens Coach Bruce Mwape To Be Laid To Rest In Chingola On Sunday

The Football Association community has been left in mourning following the passing of former Copper Queens head coach Bruce Mwape, who died at the age of 67.

Mwape is reported to have passed away this morning at Nchanga South Mine Hospital in Chingola after a short illness, according to information released by FAZ.

His death has been met with deep sadness across Zambian football, where he played a significant role in shaping the women’s game and guiding the Copper Queens during key periods of development.

The former coach will be remembered for his contribution to Zambian football and his involvement in the rise of the Copper Queens on the continental stage.

Funeral arrangements have been confirmed, with Mwape expected to be laid to rest in Chingola on Sunday.
