Lameck Banda’s U.S Lecce Suffers 3-0 Defeat Against AC Milan

Zambian midfielder Lameck Banda experienced a tough outing as his U.S Lecce side fell to a disappointing 3-0 defeat against AC Milan in a Serie A encounter.

Banda, who made his second appearance for U.S Lecce following a suspension and injury layoff, took to the field for 46 minutes in the match. However, despite his efforts, he couldn’t alter the course of the game as his team struggled to contain AC Milan’s attack.

U.S Lecce found themselves trailing by two goals in the first half, and their task became even more challenging when they were reduced to 10 men just before halftime, diminishing any hopes of a comeback. The second half saw them concede a third goal, sealing their fate for the match.

The defeat adds to U.S Lecce’s recent struggles, with only one win in their last five matches under a new manager. Currently, they sit precariously in the league standings, four points clear of relegation.

Their focus now shifts to their upcoming fixture against Empoli on April 13th, where they will aim to bounce back and secure a more positive result to improve their position in the league table.
