Klins Kangwa Poised to Sign with Israeli Club

Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa is set to join Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva, according to ZamFoot Crew sources.

Currently with Serbian club Red Star Belgrade, Kangwa was on loan at Belgian side KV Kortrijk for the latter part of last season.

He arrived in Israel on Sunday to finalize his transfer to the five-time Israeli Premier League champions. This move marks his return to Hapoel Be’er Sheva, where he previously played as a teenager during the 2017/18 season on loan.

Kangwa originally joined Red Star Belgrade on a four-year deal in July 2022 from Russian Premier League club Arsenal Tula.

Over his tenure with Red Star, the 25-year-old has recorded 12 goals and 9 assists in 56 appearances across all competitions.

He was a key player before being sidelined, remaining an unused substitute in eight consecutive matches leading up to the 2023 AFCON tournament.

Previously, Kangwa has played for Happy Hearts, Buildcon, and Arsenal Tula, where he earned accolades including Player of the Year, Top Goalscorer with 5 goals, and Best Assist Provider with 6 assists during his final season in Russia.
