GSB Ends Kalampa, Power Contracts After Betway Sponsorship

GSB has decided to end its sponsorship deals with several football clubs, including Power Dynamos, Mufulira Wanderers, Prison Leopards, and Nkana.

This decision comes in the wake of Betway’s sponsorship of the Zambian Premier League, which has led to conflicting agreements for GSB.

Mr. Yannakis, GSB’s boss, explained the decision, stating, “We are paying over 200k dollars. We are canceling all, there is nothing we can do, it’s business.

” He also mentioned a meeting with someone at FAZ, where he was told that football is business and decisions are made in the best interest of Zambian football.
