Despite transferring to Simba in Tanzania in January, Michael’s goalscoring prowess left an indelible mark on the league, as no other striker could surpass his total even four months after his departure.
Michael’s remarkable achievement came from just 16 games during the season’s first round, showcasing his exceptional talent and efficiency in front of goal. His nearest rival, Enock Sakala Jr., finished the season with 12 goals, while FC Muza’s Andrew Phiri secured 11 goals. Ricky Banda of the Red Arrows also had a successful season, netting ten goals but still falling short of Michael’s benchmark.
