CAF Launches Fresh Identity and Trophy for Futsal Africa Cup of Nations

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has unveiled a new visual identity and trophy for the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, marking a new chapter for one of the continent’s leading futsal competitions.
The unveiling comes ahead of the official draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026, scheduled to take place in Rabat on Monday, August 10.
The refreshed identity has been designed to reflect the rapid growth and ambition of African futsal, capturing the energy, movement and competitive intensity that have become synonymous with the tournament.
Its visual elements draw inspiration from the fluid movement of the game while highlighting the speed, technical ability, creativity and passion displayed by players across the continent.
CAF’s introduction of a new trophy alongside the visual identity represents more than a change in appearance, with the governing body positioning the revamp as part of its broader efforts to elevate futsal and strengthen its profile within African football.
The new design seeks to connect the tournament with the modern character of futsal while celebrating the unique qualities that make the sport increasingly popular among African football audiences.
About the new Trophy:
The newly designed trophy embodies the essence of futsal through a striking and contemporary design. Its strong diagonal lines represent the speed, movement and excitement that define the sport, while five golden arches symbolise the five players that take to the court for each team.
At the summit of the trophy, the final arch represents the team captain lifting a ball engraved with the African continent, symbolising the ultimate achievement of being crowned African champions.
The centrepiece of the trophy features a matt gold map of Africa set against a shiny gold plated background, reinforcing the continental significance of the competition.
At its base, the trophy bears the engraved name of the competition, while the reverse side features an engraved roll of honour celebrating the tournament’s past winners and rich history.
The TotalEnergies CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 will take place from 12-21 October 2026. The eight nations that have secured qualification for the finals are Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia.
As preparations continue for the 2026 edition in Morocco, the new identity and trophy will become the centrepieces of a competition that brings together the continent’s leading futsal nations.
With the official draw now set to determine the group-stage landscape, CAF’s latest unveiling signals an exciting new era for the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations as the competition continues to grow in stature and international recognition.
