FAZ Honors Excellence At Prestigious Women’s Football Gala

Zambia hosted a historic FAZ Women’s Football Gala at Taj Pamodzi Hotel, with 10 football association presidents, including legends like Samuel Eto’o, gracing the event.

The evening celebrated Zambia’s milestones in women’s football, honored past and present icons, and officially welcomed Malawi’s Scorchers for the FIFA friendlies.

CAF Vice President Hassan Waberi, COSAFA President Said Athouman, and CECAFA President Wallace Karia praised FAZ President Andrew Kamanga for driving the women’s game to greater heights. Kamanga also acknowledged President Hakainde Hichilema for championing equal pay for men and women.

Awards were presented to: Barbra Banda, Bruce Mwape, Racheal Nachula, Kabange Mupopo, Martha Tembo, Janet Bwalya, Priscilla Katoba, and more! A special moment saw Malawi’s Tabitha & Temwa Chawinga recognized for their incredible talent.
