FAZ Appoints Red Arrows CEO as Vice President of the Premier League and Competitions Committee
Lieutenant Colonel Kambani Ronald Lungu, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Red Arrows Football Club, has been appointed by the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) to the position of Vice Chairman on the Premier League and Competitions Committee.
In an official announcement, FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga conveyed congratulations to Lt. Col Lungu, expressing confidence in his ability to provide effective guidance to the committee. The appointment is seen as a recognition of Lungu’s competence and extensive experience in football administration.
Lt. Col Lungu, who recently assumed the role of CEO at Red Arrows FC after serving as Team Manager, has accepted the appointment with enthusiasm. He looks forward to contributing his knowledge and experience to this new challenge, expressing determination to excel in his new role.
Lungu’s credentials include the completion of the FIFA Executive Programme in Sports Management at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Over the years, he has been actively involved in various committees at Football House, held executive committee membership at Power Dynamos Football Club, and played founding roles in developmental teams. His wealth of experience positions him well to make significant contributions to football governance in Zambia.
