FAZ ANNOUNCES ELECTORAL ROADMAP FOR 2025 ELECTIONS

FAZ OUTLINES ROADMAP FOR 2025 ELECTIONS

Following an executive committee meeting held today, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has officially unveiled the roadmap for the 2025 elective Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will commence with provincial elections.

FAZ General Secretary Reuben Kamanga announced that the provincial elections will begin on March 15, 2025, with the elective congress scheduled for March 29, 2025.

Kamanga stated, “The FAZ executive committee has approved the roadmap for the 2025 elective national congress, starting with provincial congresses on March 15.

” He further highlighted that the committee has resolved to incorporate the election date into the FAZ constitution, a proposal which will be presented to the FAZ Council for approval.

Kamanga encouraged all members to familiarize themselves with the Electoral Code in preparation for the elections and campaigns.

“We urge all members to review the FAZ constitution and Electoral Code as they prepare to participate in the upcoming elections.

At the next AGM, we will propose an amendment to the constitution to make the election date a permanent fixture.”
