Daka Scores in All 4 AFCON Categories, Achieving Rare Feat

Despite facing limited playing time in England, Daka has managed to shine on the international stage, scoring nine goals for Zambia this year alone.
The 25-year-old striker, Patson Daka, achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first player to score in all categories of the African Cup of Nations.

Having previously showcased his goal-scoring prowess at the U17, U20, and U23 African Cup of Nations, Daka completed this remarkable feat with a goal against Tanzania on Sunday.
He initially made his mark by scoring twice for Zambia U17 under coach Chris Kaunda during the CAF 2015 African Cup of Nations in Niger.
Two years later, under coach Beston Chambeshi, Daka led the U20 team to victory on home soil, claiming the joint top scorer title and subsequently being honored with the CAF 2017 Young Player of the Year award.

In 2019, while representing Leicester City Football Club, Daka added to his impressive record by scoring a goal at the CAF U23 AFCON in Egypt.
His recent goal against Tanzania marked his 20th in 40 appearances for the Zambian national team.
Despite the challenges in securing game time in England, Daka’s exceptional performances on the international stage continue to underscore his talent and goal-scoring prowess.
