Copper Queens Head to Olympic Qualifier
The Zambia Women’s National Team has departed for Accra ahead of their Paris 2024 Olympic Women Football Tournament third-round, first-leg qualifier against Ghana on Friday.
Led by head coach Bruce Mwape, the technical bench and 19 players flew from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka to Ghana on Ethiopian Airlines at 15:45. The Israel-based duo of Catherine Musonda and Rachel Nachula, as well as Turkey-based Hellen Chanda and Misozi Zulu, will join the team directly in Ghana on Tuesday.
The match against the Black Queens will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium at 19:00, with the return leg scheduled five days later at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Tickets for the home match are available at all Shoprite stores nationwide via CompuTicket, priced at K20 for the Early Bird, K30 for East, North, and South stands, K50 for the West stand, and K100 for VIP.
