Ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Women’s Football Tournament third-round, first-leg qualifier against Ghana, the Zambia Women’s National Team convened for their inaugural training session.
Paying homage to the untimely passing of Indeni Roses striker Norin Betani, the Copper Queens observed a minute of silence at the University of Ghana ground.
Betani, a valued member of the 30-player provisional squad for the forthcoming West African encounter, was fondly remembered by her teammates.
The training session marked the beginning of intense preparations for Zambia as they gear up to face Ghana in a crucial match.
