Copper Princesses Touch Down In Uganda Ahead Of Crucial Second Leg World Cup Qualifier

The Zambia U17 Women’s Team has arrived in Uganda, gearing up for their crucial second leg 2024 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, scheduled for Friday at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

With a solid 2-0 victory in the first leg, the Copper Princesses embarked on their journey yesterday at 19:00 hours, flying with RwandAir and landing at Entebbe International Airport.

Under the guidance of Coach Carol Kanyemba, the team is focused on settling in and adapting to their new environment before diving into their training regimen..

A victory for Zambia will propel them to face either Morocco or Algeria in the final round where they will vie for a coveted spot at the U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic.
