The Zambian national team, Chipolopolo, has intensified their training sessions at the Ndola stadium in preparation for their crucial World Cup qualifying match against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars. Coach Avram Grant and his technical team conducted a thorough survey of the Levy Mwanawasa stadium, strategizing a winning blueprint for the upcoming match.
The match, initially scheduled for 15:00, has been rescheduled to 18:00, with the new kick-off time approved by FIFA, CAF, the Tanzanian Football Federation, and other stakeholders.
Zambia, currently ranked second in Group E, aims to secure a vital win against Tanzania, which sits in fourth place with three points. Morocco leads the group with six points; Niger also shares points with Zambia, but they are only separated by goals. The Congo and Eritrea complete the group.
Chipolopolo has played three games, winning one and losing two. A victory against Tanzania is crucial to reviving their World Cup qualification hopes.
