Chipolopo Boost Chan Preparations With Intense Training At Unilus Stadium

The Chipolopolo squad has been hard at work this week at UNILUS Stadium in Lusaka, intensifying preparations for the 2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN).

Scheduled to take place from 2 to 30 August 2025 across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, the tournament is a key focus for the team.

Under the guidance of head coach Avram Grant, the technical bench has been conducting rigorous training sessions, emphasizing fitness, tactical discipline, and team cohesion ahead of the continental competition.

Zambia has been placed in Group A alongside hosts Kenya, Congo DR, Morocco, and Angola, setting the stage for a challenging campaign.

The Chipolopolo will begin their CHAN journey on 7 August with a clash against Congo DR, followed by a match against Angola on 10 August. Their third group fixture will see them face Morocco on 14 August, before wrapping up the stage with a potentially decisive encounter against Kenya on 17 August.

With the competition just weeks away, the Chipolopolo are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to make an impact at CHAN 2024.
