Benson Sakala Joins New Team in Czech League Transfer

Zambian Midfielder Benson Sakala Joins Bohemians Praha 1905 in Czech Republic
Benson Sakala has secured a move to Czech First League side Bohemians Praha 1905 after becoming a free agent. The 28-year-old midfielder left FK Mladá Boleslav upon the expiry of his two-year contract.
Sakala initially joined Mladá Boleslav in July 2023 from second-tier club FK Viagem Příbram, continuing his career in the Czech Republic, where he has been based since 2021. His European journey began with Power Dynamos of the Zambian Super League before he signed for FK Viktoria Žižkov. After a season, he moved to Příbram in 2022.
Over the past three seasons, Sakala has made 88 appearances across three Czech clubs, contributing three goals and one assist.
At the international level, the midfielder has earned 35 caps for Zambia since his Chipolopolo debut in 2015.
This transfer marks Sakala’s fourth club in the Czech Republic as he looks to make an impact with Bohemians Praha 1905.
