Bazo and Chepeshi Sign with ZESCO United
Zambia Super League club ZESCO United has bolstered their squad by signing striker Alex Ng’onga and defender Benedict Chepeshi.
Ng’onga has committed to a permanent deal, while Chepeshi will join the nine-time Super League champions on a loan from Red Arrows.
Zambian football transfer expert Wami Katanga confirmed that ZESCO United completed the signing of Ng’onga, who has inked a two-year contract with the Ndola-based team on a free transfer from Lebanese club Tadamon Sour SC.
On Thursday afternoon in Ndola, he finalized his contract with Zesco and promptly joined the team at their pre-season camp in Mufulira.
Bazo makes a return to the ZSL after spending a year with TP Mazembe in DR Congo and Tadamon.
Right back Chepeshi has joined Zesco on loan from Arrows and is now with the team at their pre-season camp in Mufulira.
He reunites with coach George Lwandamina.
Zega Mambo is anticipated to make further announcements soon.
