Applications Open for CAF B License by FAZ | Press Statement

Following authority granted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) to conduct the CAF B License course candidates are now invited to apply.

Twenty-five coaches will be given an opportunity to earn their CAF B badges as part of the continuous upgrade of coaches by FAZ.
FAZ acting General Secretary Iva Lengwe says the revised CAF curriculum made the entry requirements more stringent.
“This is the second CAF B course we are having in two years which is a great opportunity for the coaches to upgrade their credentials,” Lengwe says.
Among the requirements to be admitted for the CAF B licence one must be an active coach and must be given an endorsement letter from the gaffer’s employers.
Additionally, the CAF B candidates must have scored at least 70% in the CAF C course which is a precursor to the planned training.
Candidates must be also computer literate and successful applicants will be required to pay a K15, 000 non-refundable fee for locals and K20,000 for foreign candidates.
The fee will be towards accommodation, meals, and teaching materials for the candidates for the program that will run in two phases.
Candidates will undergo residential training from May 8-20 in the first phase before breaking for internship from May 21 to June 30, 2023.
The final phase that will be another residential activity will run from June 12-30.
Prospective candidates should send their applications with detailed curriculum vitae to lyson.zulu@faz.co.zm.
