ABSA Cup Quarterfinals in the Spotlight

The 2024 ABSA Cup quarterfinals are set to ignite excitement this weekend at Nkoloma Stadium, with an array of potentially thrilling matchups.

On Saturday, fans can look forward to an enticing clash between Indeni Football Club and Kabwe Warriors, kicking off at lunchtime. Following that, Power Dynamos will take on MUZA in what promises to be an intense battle.

Both Kabwe Warriors and Indeni are determined to make history, as neither team has yet reached the final of the competition in its 17-year history. Power Dynamos, on the other hand, have their sights set on a third title, with their last triumph dating back to 2011.

Meanwhile, FC MUZA is eager to overcome last year’s disappointment, where they fell short in the final against Forest Rangers.

Sunday’s action will feature Zesco United facing off against Nchanga Rangers at 12:30 hours, followed by Red Arrows taking on Green Eagles at 14:30 hours.

Zesco United, the most successful team in the competition, will be looking to extend their dominance against Nchanga Rangers, who are yet to claim the title and only reached the final once in 2013, losing to Red Arrows.

Green Buffaloes are aiming for their second ABSA Cup crown, having emerged victorious in 2015 when they defeated Nkwazi 2-0 in the final at Nkoloma Stadium.
