Benin Touches Down Ahead Of U17 World Cup Clash With Copper Princesses

Benin’s U17 Women’s National Team has landed in Zambia ahead of their crucial FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia’s Copper Princesses.

The first leg of the third-round tie will take place on Saturday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

The delegation’s initial group, consisting of 20 players and officials, arrived at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 12:35 PM on Wednesday.

A second batch of 23 team members is scheduled to arrive on Thursday at approximately the same time.

The return leg will be played a week later, with the winner on aggregate securing a spot in the 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
