Boyd Mulwanda: Zambia U20 Must Take Inspiration from 2017 Heroes To Achieve World Cup Dream

Zambia U20 assistant coach Boyd Mulwanda has called on his players to take inspiration from the 2017 squad, which secured a historic qualification for the FIFA U20 World Cup.

The Junior Chipolopolo are placed in Group A of the TotalEnergies CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Egypt 2025, alongside hosts Egypt, South Africa, Tanzania, and Sierra Leone. The tournament is scheduled to run from 27 April to 18 May 2025.

Mulwanda believes that replicating the determination and success of the 2017 team could be key to Zambia’s campaign as they aim to make another strong impression on the continental stage.
