FIFA highlighted her impressive season, capped by scoring the NWSL championship-winning goal. Her success extends beyond club football, as she has continued to shine on the international stage.

At the Paris 2024 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament, Banda made history by scoring a hat-trick against Australia.

This achievement marked her third career hat-trick in the Olympic Games, after also scoring two at the Tokyo 2020 Games, making her the first player to achieve three hat-tricks in Olympic women’s football history.

Banda, alongside her countrywoman Racheal Kundananji, is also shortlisted for the top attacker nominees for The Best FIFA Women’s 11.
