Sydney Kasanda Set to Join Newly Promoted Nchanga Rangers in the MTN Super League

Sydney Kasanda is reportedly considering a move from South Side team FC Muza to North Side team Nchanga Rangers in the Copperbelt. Nchanga Rangers recently earned promotion to the MTN Super League after finishing first in the national division one league.

The classy and explosive defender has been one of the most reliable in the Zambian MTN Super League. Known for his standout performance during the 2023–2024 campaign, Kasanda has set the trend for “Chikasanda wanyanta pali phone.” He is currently in Chingola, finalizing his transfer from FC Muza to Bravo Nchanga Rangers.

Kasanda’s impressive career includes participation in the ABSA Cup tournament finals and semifinals in 2023 and 2024. He also played in the CAF Confederation Cup with FC Muza and has experience in the MTN Super League with teams such as Lusaka Dynamos, NAPSA Stars, Forest Rangers, and Young Zanaco, a division-one team in the Zambia Provincial League.
