Kapumbu Transfers to Petah Tikva

Zesco United midfielder Kelvin Kapumbu has signed with the Israeli second-tier side Hapoel Petah Tikva.

Kapumbu has agreed to a one-year contract, with an option for an additional year.

He will join his new teammates after the 2024 COSAFA Cup. Currently, he is in South Africa with the national team.

The former Zanaco midfielder missed Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Zimbabwe, which saw Zambia bow out of the tournament.

“I’m happy to start a new chapter in my career and join Hapoel Petah Tikva. I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates and getting to work,” Kapumbu said.
