Zambia U15 Boys Depart for Morocco with Coach’s Confidence

The Zambia U15 Boys National Team has embarked on their journey to Morocco for the Double Confrontation Invitational Tournament with Head Coach Aaron Kawangu exuding confidence in the team’s readiness. Departing from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, the squad boarded an Emirates flight late last night, bound for Morocco.

Coach Kawangu, who has meticulously selected a squad of 21 players for the upcoming matches against Morocco, expressed satisfaction with the team’s preparation. “The team is looking good, they are looking sharp,” he remarked before departure. “We have prepared very well for the last two weeks, and the boys have shown a real eagerness to go and represent Zambia.”

Highlighting the team’s commitment to addressing weaknesses identified during recent friendly games, Kawangu emphasized their dedication to improvement. “We worked on a few things that we were lacking in the friendly games we played here,” he revealed. “The response from the boys has been good, and we’re hoping they will carry this form into the tournament.”

The matches against Morocco are scheduled for March 22nd and 25th at the Mohammed VI Complex, providing the young Zambian players with a platform to showcase their talent and represent their country on the international stage. As they embark on this journey, the team carries with them the hopes and aspirations of a nation, fueled by the confidence instilled by Coach Kawangu and their collective determination to succeed.
