Joseph Banda Scores First Goal for FC Zürich II

Zambian young talent Joseph Sabobo Banda marked his first goal for FC Zurich II by scoring the opening goal in a 2-2 draw against Breitenrain.
Banda wasted no time, finding the net just two minutes into the match. Robin Golliard equalized for Breitenrain 20 minutes later from the penalty spot.

Nils Reichmuth restored Zurich II’s lead just before halftime. However, Golliard struck again in the 59th minute, ensuring both teams shared the points.
This match was Banda’s third appearance for Zurich II since joining, having previously played for the Zambia U17 team and Red Arrows.

Competing in the Hoval Promotion League, which is the third tier of the Swiss football league system, Zurich II has high hopes for Banda, who signed a five-year deal with the Swiss club in January.
