Klings Kangwa Signs with Belgian Club KV Kortrijk
Zambia National Team midfielder, Klings Kangwa, has successfully finalized his transfer from Serbia to the Belgian League. Kangwa is set to join the Belgian Premier League side Koninklijke Voetbalclub Kortrijk (KV Kortrijk or KVK).
In a recent development, the Chipolopolo midfielder inked a short-term five-month loan deal with an option to buy, with the agreement being officially signed yesterday. The orchestrated move was facilitated by Israeli agent Nir Karin, and Kangwa is expected to integrate with his new teammates at the commencement of the upcoming week.
It’s worth noting that Kangwa had received official offers from various countries, including Russia, Turkey, Israel, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia. Despite multiple options, he opted for Belgium, where the interest and desire for his presence were evidently the strongest.
As the sole Zambian player in the Belgian league, Kangwa is poised to make a significant impact. His new team, Kortrijk, currently finds itself at the bottom of the Belgian Pro League, and Kangwa aims to contribute to their efforts in avoiding relegation.
