Chipolopolo Plans to Relocate Headquarters to Ivory Coast

The Chipolopolo Boys are gearing up to depart for Ivory Coast after securing a 1-1 draw against Cameroon on Tuesday.

Avram Grant’s squad has concluded their pre-AFCON camp in Saudi Arabia. Departing from Jeddah, the team will make their way to San Pedro dressed in black suits paired with either green or orange ties.

Zambia is set to join Morocco and Tanzania in San Pedro, with DR Congo anticipated to be the final Group F team arriving at the destination.

The opening match on January 17, 2024, will see Zambia facing DR Congo. Currently holding the sixth position in terms of AFCON medals, Zambia achieved third place in 1982, 1990, and 1996, securing second place in 1974 and 1994. The Chris Katongo-led team clinched the coveted trophy in 2012.
