Mbombo rejoins Nkana as Kalampa reveals four new signings.
Congolese forward Idris Mbombo has made a return to Nkana, rejoining the club after a three-year stint with the Egyptian side El Gouna.
Mbombo is anticipated to strengthen Kalampa’s frontline, with Coach Ian Bakala optimistic about him replicating the impressive form he displayed during his previous tenure at Nkana from 2019 to 2021.
In addition to Mbombo, the 13-time Zambia Super League Champions have secured the services of Congolese goalkeeper Monga Ndala, formerly of FC MUZA, based in Mazabuka.
Joining the Nkana ranks alongside Mbombo and Ndala are midfielder Laurent Muma from Forest Rangers and winger Austin Banda from NAPSA Stars.
The quartet may see action for Nkana in their upcoming match against Mutondo Stars in the 19th week encounter.
Nkana currently occupies the 16th position on the league table, amassing 16 points after completing 18 rounds of matches.
