ZNBC to Broadcast Every AFCON Match
ZNBC has announced its coverage of all 52 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) games scheduled to commence on January 13, 2024.
The confirmation came from THABO KAWANA, the Permanent Secretary for Information and Media, during the AFCON Broadcast launch in Lusaka.
KAWANA stated that the matches would be aired on TV1, TV2, and Radio 1. In a bid to foster unity, he mentioned that the commentary for all the games would be provided in the seven major local languages.
Encouraging the Chipolopolo boys, KAWANA urged them to give their best efforts and follow the example set by the Copper Queens, assuring that the government has provided all necessary support.
In a related development, JOSEPH KAZHILA, the ZNBC Board Chairperson, called upon businesses to take advantage of this opportunity by advertising their products and services during the AFCON period.
KAZHILA emphasized that this is also a chance for companies to showcase their offerings in local languages
