Zambia Under-15 Football Team Drawn in Group B for COSAFA Qualifiers

The Zambia Under-15 Football Team is set to compete in Group B of the CAF African Schools Football Championship, COSAFA Qualifiers 2nd edition, scheduled to take place from December 14-16, 2023, in Zimbabwe. The Boys and Girls teams will face challenging opponents in their group, including South Africa, Angola, Namibia, and Madagascar.

This marks Zambia’s debut in the tournament, as the country did not have entrants in the inaugural event held in Lilongwe, Malawi the previous year. The draw has placed them in a competitive group, and the team is gearing up to showcase their skills and potential on the international stage.

In Group A, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, Eswatini, and Mozambique will also contend for the opportunity to qualify for the final championship. The tournament promises exciting football action and an opportunity for young talents to make a mark on the continental stage.
