ZPL Announces Disciplinary Decision Regarding ZESCO United vs. Konkola Blades Match.

The Zambian Premier League (ZPL) wishes to inform stakeholders and the general public of a disciplinary decision arising from the Week One fixture between ZESCO United and Konkola Blades.

Following a review of the match, it was established that ZESCO United fielded ineligible players. In accordance with the regulations:

• The match result has been awarded as a 3–0 victory to Konkola Blades.
• ZESCO United has been fined K10,000 (Ten Thousand Kwacha), payable within seven (7) days.

ZESCO United reserves the right to appeal this decision to the FAZ Disciplinary Committee.
