Chipolopolo star Kings Kangwa says the team is ready and looking forward to Monday’s Group E FIFA World Cup clash against Morocco at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Kangwa said playing a great opponent like Morocco was enough motivation for the team to do better.
“These are the big games, everyone is excited, and everyone is looking forward to the challenge,” Kangwa said.
“It is a good motivation; we are playing a big team, we do not need extra motivation. We are looking forward to the game.”
The on-fire Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder urged the fans to turn up in numbers to support the team.
Zambia hosts Morocco on Monday at 15h00 at the Levy Mwanawasa in Ndola.
Already qualified Morocco has 18 points while Tanzania lies in second with 10 points with Zambia third on six points with Congo lying at the bottom with one point.
