Zambian midfield ace Clatous “Triple C” Chama has completed an emotional return to Tanzanian powerhouse Simba SC, marking his comeback just a year and six months after parting ways with the Wekundu wa Msimbazi.
The club confirmed the reunion through their official social media platforms, welcoming back their midfield general in what fans have described as a homecoming.
Chama has wasted no time settling in, already earning a place in Simba SC’s traveling squad bound for Tunisia ahead of their high-stakes CAF Champions League showdown against Espérance de Tunis.
Fondly known as Mwamba wa Lusaka, Chama’s journey since leaving Simba saw him spend a season with arch-rivals Young Africans before a brief six-month spell at Singida Big Stars. Now, he returns to familiar territory for his third stint with the Dar es Salaam giants.
A beloved figure in Tanzanian football, Chama first arrived in the country in July 2018 and quickly carved out legendary status at Simba SC.
During his initial spell, he dedicated five and a half years to the club, with a short six-month loan adventure in Morocco at RS Berkane, cementing his reputation as one of the finest midfielders to grace the league.
