Veteran Copper Queens forward Misozi Zulu has joined Lithuanian champions FC Gintra on a contract that runs until the end of the 2026 season, which began last week.
The 31-year-old Zambian international makes the move to Lithuania following her recent stint with Maltese side Hibernians.
She commented;
“I know that Gintra is the strongest club in Lithuania, with a long tradition of victories. The team regularly participates in the UEFA Women’s Champions League tournament, which gives me the opportunity to compete at the highest level and be visible on the international stage. Personal development is also important to me”, Zulu said.
She further reiterated, “I always strive to get the most out of the environment I am in, and Gintra provides professional conditions. I hope that this season we will also be a team that can boast of titles and delight the audience with victories.”
Gintra are a dominant force in Lithuanian football having won all the Women’s A League titles in the last 20 years (2005 to 2025).
