Lwandamina Unveils 38-Man Chipolopolo Squad

Interim Chipolopolo coach George Lwandamina has unveiled a 38-member provisional squad for the upcoming Four-Nation Tournament, set to take place in Francistown, Botswana later this month.

The squad features some intriguing selections, including a first-ever call-up for Chanka Zimba, whose impressive performances for Scottish side Inverness Caledonian Thistle have earned him a spot in the national team setup.

In another notable development, Lwandamina has recalled striker Kingstone Mutandwa to the fold for the first time since October 2024.

The inclusion of both Zimba and Mutandwa signals the coach’s intent to blend emerging talent with experienced returnees as Zambia prepares for the regional friendly competition in Botswana.
