2026 COSAFA Women’s Championship Are On From Feb 18 to March 1

With the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 drawing closer, the timing of this tournament could not be more ideal.

It presents southern Africa’s top sides with a high-level stage to test their readiness and fine-tune their squads under real competitive pressure.

For South Africa, Zambia and Malawi, the competition is more than a warm-up exercise. It is a crucial phase to regain rhythm, strengthen team chemistry and gather momentum before stepping into the demanding continental spotlight.

The TotalEnergies CAF WAFCON will take place in Morocco from 17 March to 3 April, and the rewards go well beyond regional bragging rights.

Serving as a pathway to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, the tournament carries enormous significance for nations chasing a place on the global stage.

For the three COSAFA nations in the mix, this championship is not simply part of their build-up — it is the opening chapter of a long and testing road toward world football’s biggest stage.
