Zesco United Confirms Enock Sakala’s Transfer to Egyptian Club

Zesco United has confirmed the departure of striker Enock Sakala Jnr, who has joined Egyptian Premier League side Modern Future FC.

The 22-year-old has signed a 3-year contract with the Egyptian club.

“Zesco United wishes to announce the departure of star striker Enock Sakala Jr, who has joined Egyptian Premier League side Modern Future FC on a permanent deal.”

Sakala scored 12 goals last season, helping Zesco United qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup. He came through the ranks at Zesco United.

Modern Future FC, based in Cairo, was founded 13 years ago as Coca Cola FC and rebranded to Future FC in 2021. They won the Egyptian League Cup in 2022.
