Zambian National Football Team to Arrive in San Pedro Today

The Chipolopolo Boys are set to embark on their journey to San Pedro, Ivory Coast, where they will be stationed for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

In the preceding days, the team underwent rigorous preparations and participated in an international camp in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. During this period, an international friendly match against Cameroon took place, concluding with a goalless draw.

Having secured their place in the continental showpiece for the first time since 2015, the 2012 Champions are eager to make their mark in the upcoming tournament. Zambia is scheduled to kick off their AFCON campaign on January 17, facing DR Congo at the Laurent Pokou Stadium.

Subsequent to their opening match, the Copper Bullets will meet Tanzania four days later, and their final Group F encounter is set against the Atlas Lions on January 24.
