In the recently announced 2023 COSAFA Cup Best XI, four players from Zambia’s national team, Chipolopolo Boys, have been recognized for their outstanding performances. The selected players are defender Matthews Chabala from Nchanga Rangers, as well as Kelvin Kapumbu and Kelvin Kampamba from Zesco United. Additionally, Albert Kangwanda, an attacker from Red Arrows, also made it into the prestigious lineup.
Zambia boasts the highest representation in the Best XI, with four players earning their spots. Malawi and Lesotho follow closely behind with three players each, while South Africa has just one player in the lineup.
