The Netball Association of Zambia (NAZ) Hopes To Be Part Of The 2022 Commonwealth Games
The Netball Association of Zambia -NAZ- is optimistic that the country will be among the 12 participants at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth games.
NAZ President MARTHA SICHONE says the Association will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the team improves on its rank and earn a spot at the Commonwealth games.
Zambia is currently ranked 15th in the world and will need to move three steps above the ladder if they are to qualify.
She told Zambian Sports News in an interview that 20 players have entered residential camp today to prepare for the two competitions that will be staged in Windhoek Namibia.
SICHONE said the first tournament will be the Paint Series that will run from the 31st of October to the 9th of November 2021.
She said the team will then remain in camp while in Namibia for the African Championships that run from the 9th to the 16th November 2021.
