Napsa Stars Announce Sipho Mumbi as New Manager
Super League side Napsa Stars have confirmed the appointment of Sipho Mumbi as their new head coach. He takes over from Perry Mutapa, who recently parted ways with the club.
“Napsa Stars Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Sipho Mumbi as Head Coach, effective immediately.
Previously, he served as Assistant Coach at Nkana Football Club,” the club stated.
The 45-year-old Mumbi returns to the capital city after spending about eight months as Ian Bakala’s assistant at Kitwe giants Nkana.
Mutapa led Napsa Stars to Absa Cup success two seasons ago.
This will be Mumbi’s third stint at the club, having initially played for them between 2012 and 2014.
After retiring as a player, he was promoted to coach Young Napsa Stars.
