German Side Unveils Lubambo
The 29-year-old has joined the German second-tier club (2. Bundesliga) from Danish side AC Horsens.
Last season, he was on loan at Silkeborg IF, where he played 17 games in the Danish Superliga and seven games in the Superliga championship round.
Additionally, Musonda and his team won the Oddset Cup with a 1-0 victory in the final against Aarhus GF.
Both the head coach and the Sporting Director of Magdeburg FC expressed their happiness with the acquisition of the experienced Zambian international.

Lubambo Musonda’s Career Journey
Lubambo Musonda was born on March 1, 1995, in Lusaka, Zambia. He began his football career at National Assembly FC and Power Dynamos FC in Zambia.
In August 2014, he moved to Armenian first division club Ulisses Yerevan, where he played 13 games and scored two goals.
A year later, he joined Gandzasar Kapan (also in Armenia). Over the next four years, Musonda made 98 appearances in the first division, scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists, and played four games in the Europa League qualifiers, scoring one goal. In 2018, he and his team won the Armenian Cup.
In January 2019, the 1.71-meter-tall defender transferred to Polish first division club Śląsk Wrocław.
In the Ekstraklasa, Musonda made 55 appearances and provided four assists, along with one game in the qualification for the Europa Conference League.
In August 2021, Musonda joined Danish club AC Horsens. He initially helped the team achieve promotion to the first division, playing 18 second division games and contributing one goal and two assists.
He then played 22 games in the Superliga, scoring three goals and providing three assists, along with eight games in the relegation round until his loan to Silkeborg IF in August 2023.
